About the Doctors

Robert Caskey, DDS, MSD

Dr. Robert Caskey attended the University of Washington and obtained his Doctor of Dental Surgery in 1982 and his Master of Science degree in orthodontics in 1988. He has been practicing orthodontics for more than 20 years.

To stay up to date on the latest advancements in orthodontics, Dr. Caskey is a member of many professional organizations, including the American Association of Orthodontists, the Pacific Coast Society of Orthodontists, the American Dental Association, the Arizona State Dental Association and the Arizona Orthodontic Study Group.

Dr. Caskey is also an outdoor enthusiast! His love for nature and experiencing God’s creations keep him busy when he’s not in the office. Depending on the season, you are likely to find Dr. Caskey mountain biking or snow-skiing. He is also an avid hiker and has put some serious miles on his feet, particularly in the Grand Canyon.

 

Eric Peterson, DDS, MSD

Dr. Eric Peterson graduated from Baylor College of Dentistry in 2002 with his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. He then completed a general practice residency at the University of Utah Hospital from 2002 to 2003. From 2003 to 2005, he attended the Saint Louis University Center for Advanced Dental Education, focusing on an orthodontic specialty, to earn his Master of Science in Dentistry degree.

Sharing his knowledge, Dr. Peterson is involved with the Winslow Indian Healthcare Center by treating patients and lecturing to the doctors at this clinic. He developed an orthodontic lecture series that he presents to the Advanced Education on General Dentistry residents, which introduces orthodontic concepts useful for both private practices in general dentistry or a foundation for an orthodontic residency. Dr. Peterson is also a member of the American Association of Orthodontists, the American Dental Association, the Arizona Dental Association and the Rocky Mountain Society of Orthodontists.

To reach out to his community, Dr. Peterson volunteers on the Activities Board for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Flagstaff and suppports various school, church, and athletic oraganizations. He is also involved in the Northern Arizona Network for Dental Excellence (NANDE) dental study group. In addition, Dr. Peterson is actively involved in his church as well. In his spare time, he enjoys mountain biking, skiing, and photography. In fairly recent years Dr. Peterson has taken up trail running and has managed to survive ultramarathons such as the Zane Gray 50, San Juan Solstice 50, Rim-Rim-Rim (Grand Canyon), and the Leadville 100. Something you may not know about Dr. Peterson is that he lived in Mendoza, Argentina for two years, and he speaks Spanish fluently! Dr. Peterson and his wife Angie have a son named Luke and a little girl named Reese!
